The solvent effect on epoxidation of allyl chloride with hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by titanium slicalite-1(TS-1) in solvents with different kinds of functional group was studied. The results indicated that the performance of allyl chloride epoxidation was improved in the solvents with hydroxyl group and in acetone, but became worse in the solvents with nitrile group. The results are affected by the steric hindrance of solvent molecules in the channels of TS-1, and ethanol, isopropanol and t-butyl alcohol can be oxidized by H2O2 into aldehyde, ketone or peroxide respectively. The selectivity of TS-1 can be improved, but not as well as its stability when acetonitrile is added into methanol or acetone.

Catalytic wet oxidation of H2S to sulfur on Fe/Cu catalyst in plate column was investigated, and the effects of superficial velocity,liquid-gas ratio, initial pH value of absorbent and the inlet concentration of H2S on H2S removal efficiency were studied, and the dependency of the oxidation rate of ferrous ion on the air flux and height of ferrous solution column was also investigated. The results showed that the removal efficiency of H2S could almost reach 100% for 1000×10-6 (V/V) H2S under the conditions that the concentrations of Fe2+,Fe3+and Cu2+ were 70 g•L-1,70 g•L-1 and 120 g•L-1 respectively. In general, the possible advantages of this process are low energy demand for operation and reduced consumption of chemicals (no other raw material will be consumed except O2 in flue gas),and the process has no secondary pollution and no problem of reaction system degradation.

In this paper, the dehydration behavior of copolymer hydrogel membrane of KH570 with N-vinylpyrrolidone(NVP) and hydroxyethylmethacrylate(HEMA)was studied. The results showed that the dehydration mechanism could be described by two models, one was the order of kinetics being 1 and the other was the order of kinetics being 0.5. For the order of kinetics 1, it was the initial dehydration and was characterized by the evaporation of water; while for the subsequent order of kinetics 0.5, it was characterized by the diffusion of water. The dehydration rate of the hydrogel membrane increased when the temperature and the content of NVP or KH570 increased, while the dehydration rate decreased when the content of NaCl increased.

Under these conditions the adhesive showed good adhesive property and the shear strengths of felted polypropylene and adhered steel materialreached 3.4MPa and 7.7Mpa respectively.

The SEM and AFM experiments showed that O, O-dilauroyl chitosan could form a new kind of self-assembled vesicles for drug delivery and the diameter of the vesicles was mainly 100-200nm. The effects of degree of acylation of chitosan and addition of lecithin on the behavior of O, O-dilauroyl chitosan self-assembled vesicles were studied in this work. The experimental results showed that the rate of drug-release of the vesicles decreased with increasing degree of acylation, and the rate could be increased with the addition of lecithin. The degree of acylation of chitosan had hardly any effect on the drug loading capacity of O, O-dilauroyl chitosan self-assembled vesicles, but obviously affected the drug encapsulation efficiency. The drug encapsulation efficiencies of three kinds of the vesicles made from different acylated chitosans were 29.52%, 31.55% and39.88% for degree of acylation 1.3, 1.4 and 1.7 respectively.

The raffinate column in the eluxyl unit of an aromatics complex is the key fractionator to separate C8 aromatics from para-diethyl benzene (PDEB). PDEB is expensive and only if the PDEB content in C8 aromatics side cut is less than 25×10-6 mol/mol, the operation cost could be lowered effectively. The article describes the problems before revamping, the design philosophy and solution for the application of minitype high efficiency valve tray, the performance test results after revamping, and the comparison of operation data before and after revamping in a domestic aromatics complex. After one year and a half commercial operation, the operation is stable and the load is over 100%. The PDEB content in C8A side cut is less than 10×10-6 mol/mol or even less, and the product purity and recovery can be kept high, which all indicate that the revamping of the raffinate column can meet the requirement of actual production.
