Using CaC2 for acid–removal and dehydration, three kinds of pesticide emusifiable solution with water content and acid content above specification were treated with CaC2. The effects of CaC2/ emusifiable solution ratio, particle size and reaction time on acid removal and dehydration were studied. The loss rate of major pesticide indicator of emusifiable solution resulting from the treatment was determined, and the impact of the treatment on the stability, toxicology and toxicity of emusifiable solution was evaluated. The results showed that the best treatment conditions were as follows: CaC2/emusifiable solution ratio 1∶100, CaC2 particle size 0.177~0.149 mm,and reaction time 10min. The loss rate of major pesticide indicator resulting from the treatment was 0.3%~1.8%. After treatment with CaC2,the stability of sample remained unchanged, with low toxicity(toxicology unchanged),pesticide effectiveness increased a little.
