Progress in cyclohexanol preparation by catalytic hydration of cyclohexene

环己烯催化水合制环己醇的研究进展

Abstract: Research progress in catalysts for direct hydration of cyclohexene is summarized,in which ion exchange resins and zeolites are two major catalysts. The modification of zeolite is an important research direction. Processes for cyclohexene hydration to produce cyclohexanol are reviewed and their advantages and disadvantages are compared. A new process with reactive distillation column using a co-solvent was proposed for the preparation of cyclohexanol by catalytic hydration of cyclohexene,which seems to offer a solution for those problems in existed technologies.

摘要: 介绍了环己烯催化水合制备环己醇反应催化剂的研究进展,阳离子交换树脂和沸石催化剂是两类重要的催化剂,对沸石进行改性使之更适合于水合反应是一个重要的研究方向。综述了环己烯水合制环己醇的工艺,着重介绍了日本旭化成工艺和反应精馏工艺,并对其优缺点进行了比较。最后,提出了加入助溶剂的环己烯直接水合新型反应精馏方案,有望解决原有工艺存在的问题。
