Enhanced resistance to deactivation of TiO2 during ACF/TiO2 treatment to degrade formaldehyde

Abstract: The service life of catalyst is an important factor to decide the stability of the processing efficiency in the active carbon fiber (ACF) loaded titanium dioxide photocatalytic oxidation of organic waste. The methods such as ultraviolet ray with steam and the ultraviolet ray with ozone were studied for observing the condition of ACF and catalyst in the process. The catalyst life was determined according to the deactivation rate while the test was finished when the efficiency was stable. On the basis of tentative data,an effective method enhancing resistance to deactivation of titanium dioxide was presented.

摘要: 利用ACF负载TiO2光催化降解处理有机废气,以甲醛为处理对象,采用紫外光+水蒸气、紫外光+臭氧的两种控制方法进行对比研究;考察ACF的吸附及催化剂的使用、催化剂的活性状况;在实验基础上分析催化剂失活控制的规律,比较了两种控制方法在不同情况下的优劣。
