Abstract:

Micro-emulsion of fatty acid methyl ester with water was prepared using ethanol as the polar cosolvent and OP-4，SPAN80 and the self-made L as the emulsifier. The watering characteristics of the prepared micro-emulsion was investigated. Results indicated that the maximal watering volume of micro-emulsion increases with proportion increase of ethanol or emulsifier content. OP-4 showed the highest efficiency for the micro-emulsion. The prepared micro-emulsion of fatty acid methyl ester with water could be used as the fuel for diesel engines.

为了制备脂肪酸甲酯掺水微乳化液，以无水乙醇为极性助溶剂，以OP-4、SPAN80和自配表面活性剂L为乳化剂，对微乳化液的掺水特性进行研究。研究结果表明：随着无水乙醇体积分数或乳化剂添加量的增加，微乳化液最大掺水量增加；在3种乳化剂中，OP-4对脂肪酸甲酯掺水的微乳化效率最高；脂肪酸甲酯掺水微乳化液可以作为燃料在柴油机上使用。
